ROBYN ATTICKS, OWNER & FOUNDER

Robyn Atticks has been a professional hairstylist for over 18 years. Already living a healthy, organic lifestyle, she soon became aware of the many dangers in the beauty industry. As she continued her studies, she learned critical information on the detrimental affects of chemicals in most hair & skin products.  In 2005, she decided to open the first organic salon in her area (Lancaster, PA). As she tried out the few truly organic hair care products, she became increasingly discouraged at the lack of a salon-quality line to promote in her salon. Some she found still had dangerous ingredients while others were outrageously expensive and not affordable to the average consumer.

Taking matters into her own hands, she hired a passionate organic formulator who has been an expert herbalist since the 1960’s. Combining her experience as a stylist and her formulator’s experience as a naturalist & herbalist, a new salon-quality product line was born for hair, skin, and body care.

Robyn now is a self-proclaimed education ambassador, providing information to everyone she can on the harmful chemicals in their products to help them live a healthier lifestyle. Her mission is to convert as many toxic salons as possible to non-toxic. Robyn is enthusiastically trying to change the beauty industry forever, thereby helping make a difference in the lives of her clients and clients around the world who deserve healthy products!

I have found that too many of the “so-called” organic & natural products on the market today do not meet the standards I feel are necessary to qualify as high quality, completely chemical free, organic products.

My goal is to work with my formulator to help unfold the inner & outer beauty of my clients & produce the most satisfied customers I can imagine. After using my Shear Miracles products, you will actually look forward to your skin care regime instead of it being a twice-daily task. Your “whole being will love” the products & just using them creates that healthy glow on the outside as well as will make you feel great on the inside!

Shear Miracles products are produced so that the skin/body/mind/emotion complex is nurtured simultaneously with the application of aromatherapeutic products designed to balance not only the skin but the entire being as well. After much research & testing several different product lines, I am confident that no line can match this quality & effectiveness. The wisdom for the formulations come from century’s old family product formulations using the latest Eastern & Western technologies & the creation of custom Ayurvedic, Tibetan, Western, European facial & body protocols.

Also, every product comes with a list of ALL its ingredients which you will be able to read without a biology degree. For example, my favorite shampoo, Purely Amazing, for Normal/Dry/Curly hair has the following ingredients: Distilled water, Aloe Vera, Olive Oil, Organic Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Organic African Black Soap, Castor Oil, Avocado Oil, Organic Shea Butter, Organic Oils of:  Jojoba, grapeseed, apricot & evening primrose; Vegetable Glycerin, Hemp Oil Protein, Extracts of Organic Peppermint, Wild-Crafted Yucca, Wild-Crafted Horsetail, Organic Nettle, Organic Melissa, Certified Organic plant source xanthan gum,Vitamin E, Organic Essential Oils of Orange, Ylang Ylang, and Rosemary.
